Cracked heels are a common problem nowadays. They can be a cosmetic problem, but a painful condition too. No one likes to see their heels cracked – it’s an unpleasant sight.

Dry skin and thick calluses that look like brown discolored patches of skin are the usual symptoms of cracked heels. The problem may cause itching, inflammation and peeling of the skin, and the cracks can sometimes bleed. In order to prevent bleeding and bigger problems, you need to resolve it as soon as it appears.

Improper foot care, unhealthy diet, age, dry air, prolonged standing and walking and improper footwear are all responsible for dry and cracked heels. Some health conditions such as diabetes, eczema, psoriasis and thyroid disease can be the culprits too.

This article presents a natural remedy for cracked heels that will provide results in less than two weeks!

Preparation

Crush 10 Aspirins or Andols and mix them with 70% rubbing alcohol. Put the mixture in a glass bottle and leave it to stay for a couple of days. Shake the bottle well before use and apply it every night before going to bed. Pour some of it on a gauze then apply it on the affected area, wrapping it in plastic foil and putting a sock on your feet. Leave the remedy to work overnight and rinse well with water in the morning.

After the treatment, apply Vaseline or other greasy cream on your feet to hydrate them. You can also scrub your feet gently before applying the cream. In just 10-15 treatments, the calluses and dry skin should start to disappear!

This remedy also works for varicose veins and it manages to relieve the pain in only a few treatments.
